Dan & Fiona's Henley Wedding
I attended the wedding of Dan and Fiona last weekend as part guest and part photographer. The service was held in Henley Registry office which turned out to be a photographers dream on an overcast day, owing to the fact that the service room had a glass atrium. So no need for high ISO's or fast primes.
The softness of the sky helped too with the statutory formals before the small wedding party decamped to the Red Lion hotel for a glass of fizz and canape's. I had the opprtunity to take the happy couple off for half an hour to take some more intimate portraits on the streets of Henley.
The bride & Groom then moved on to Hurley Village for food and more drink at the local village hall. The evening featured a Ceilidh which most of the guests happily joined in too.
This is the first time I have covered a 3 venue wedding and I must say it did give me much more variety in the photography.
